Pentagon dupes networks?

Drudge has the following teaser up on his page right now:

PENTAGON USES NETWORKS TO DUPE ENEMY... DEVELOPING...

Glad to see the military is using those fools in the media. But is Drudge's headline a bit flawed? He could have simply wrote "PENTAGON DUPES ENEMY". I'll keep an eye on Drudge and update this post once he publishes the story behind this teaser.

UPDATE: Drudge was teasing a story to appear in tomorrow's L.A. Times. Basically, the Times piece is just another smear on the Bush administration meant to hinder its ability to fight the war on terror:
On the evening of Oct. 14, a young Marine spokesman near Fallouja appeared on CNN and made a dramatic announcement. "Troops crossed the line of departure," 1st Lt. Lyle Gilbert declared, using a common military expression signaling the start of a major campaign. [...]

In fact, the Fallouja offensive would not kick off for another three weeks. Gilbert's carefully worded announcement was an elaborate psychological operation — or "psy-op" — intended to dupe insurgents in Fallouja and allow U.S. commanders to see how guerrillas would react if they believed U.S. troops were entering the city, according to several Pentagon officials. [...]

Officials at the Pentagon and other U.S. national security agencies said the CNN incident was not an isolated feint — the type used throughout history by armies to deceive their enemies — but part of a broad effort underway within the Bush administration to use information to its advantage in the war on terrorism.

So its all to the advantage of the Bush administration, not the American people or troops on the ground? They act as though the war on terror is some political campaign, and the Bush administration is playing dirty against their preffered candidate.

Does any attempt at succes on the part of the Bush administration irk the left so bad that they would rather see us lose in Iraq? That's a rhetorical question, by the way. I think its become obvious over the past two years who's side the left is on.

Take for instance their refusal to show the videos of American civilians having their heads sawed off, but they trip over themselves to show a Marine shooting a terrorist sniper. From Abu Ghraib to Guantanamo Bay, the media has been running its own "psy-op" campaign for our enemy, its about time the Pentagon gave them a taste of their own medicine.

nothing to shame. Those fault lines not only pointed at Nick, but they also pointed at various sets
of parents, friends, neighbors. 'V' necks should be paired
with a button down collared shirt, remembering to keep the shirt collar tucked in.
